Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for his efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus, Report informs via Interfax.
"I want to thank once again friendly France and you personally for the efforts and support aimed at strengthening Armenia's sovereignty, sustainability and democracy in our country, as well as establishing lasting and fair peace in the South Caucasus region," Pashinyan wrote in his birthday congratulations to Macron.
He noted that during Macron's presidency, the 'special relationship between Armenia and France' has reached a new level of strategic partnership.
Pashinyan also expressed hope for Macron's visit to Armenia in 2025.
