President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called an emergency meeting due to the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station (HPP).

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov.

"Volodymyrr Zelensky decided to hold an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine due to the explosion of the Kakhovka reservoir dam," Danilov said.

It should be noted that the dam of Kakhovka HPP was blown up by the Russians tonight. Residents living on the right bank of the Dnieper, who are in danger of being flooded, have been evacuated.
